The Hudson Lyric Opera opens its fifth consecutive season with a tour-de-force. In selecting Gounod’s, “Faust” for this year’s production, the opera company has entered the realm of Grand Opera with a capital “G”.

Community invited to opening reception

Ramapo, NY— SUNY Rockland Community College faculty and staff are presenting their artwork on campus.

(MAHWAH, NJ) – The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts at Ramapo College will present an eclectic slate of music, theater and comedy performances this fall.

This is a hands-on introductory class to the fusing process, with no prior experience needed. You have seen beautiful glass platters in galleries, now design your own! We will briefly discuss the types of glass used in fusing and the workings of kilns. You will then create your own unique glass to be fused into a sheet.

On Friday and Saturday, August 6 and 7, at 7:00 p.m., in the auditorium at the Suffern Village Hall, you will be entertained by the culmination of a five-week summer program. 

West Nyack- On Earth, a startlingly relevant exhibition, features eleven ceramic artists exploring the complex relationships between humans and the natural environment through the use of clay in a sculptural form.

Free performances under the stars by Rockland Shakespeare Company

Ramapo, NY—The Rockland Shakespeare Company and Rockland Community College Performing Arts Department invite the public to free outdoor performances of Shakespeare’s comedy, “Much Ado About Nothing.”

The Village of Suffern’s Summer Concert Series lineup has been announced.  The first concert is scheduled for Thursday June 24^th with the final concert of the season—a children’s concert, scheduled for August 9^th.
