[Suffern, NY] Girl Scout Troop #40651 is sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday, December 2nd in the Cafeteria at Suffern Middle School, 80 Hemion Road, Suffern NY. Staff from the New York Blood Center will be on hand to accept donations from 4:30 p.m-10:00 p.m. Donors should bring Photo or Signature ID, and are advised to eat and drink before they donate. January Public Hearing Scheduled on Wolfe’s Proposed Local Law
Banning Local Sale of Drop-side Cribs
New City, NY (November 24, 2009)– The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of 2.1 million drop-side cribs manufactured by Stork Craft Manufacturing, a Canada-based company. The CPSC advises that the recall involves 1.2 million cribs sold in the U.S. and 1 million sold in Canada. Some of the cribs recalled bear the popular Fisher-Price brand name. Full Article
