The Suffern Music & Arts Festival kicked off the first training session in the SMAF Seismic Slimdown competition. One of the most unique benefits of being a festival volunteer plays on the popularity of NBC’s “Biggest Loser” show. It’s called “Give Back/Get Back SMAF Seismic Slimdown’. This FREE 8-week contest is open to women only. Actually, I should say was open to women only. I crashed the session last night. Full Article

SUFFERN-The planning and preparation for the Suffern Music and Arts Festival is in full swing as evidenced by the reports presented by the various Festival committees.
The Festival Committee will soon be opening a storefront on Lafayette Avenue The festival storefront will serve as a central meeting place and information outlet for this all-volunteer endeavor. Volunteers have already stepped forward to operate the new HQ for a few hours each day.
