The East Ramapo Central School District is a component district of the Rockland Board of Cooperative Educational Services (“BOCES”) and is represented by one seat on the Rockland BOCES Board of Education.

The East Ramapo Board of Education is seeking a qualified applicant for nomination to serve on the Rockland BOCES Board of Education for the term beginning July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016. Qualified candidates must reside within the boundaries of the District and may not be an employee of the District.
 
Community members interested in being nominated as the East Ramapo representative to the Rockland BOCES Board of Education may submit a resume or letter of interest with their qualifications for the seat to the District Clerk by Monday, March 4, 2013. Letters may be mailed to 105 South Madison Avenue, Spring Valley, NY 10977, or e-mailed to the clerk at crussell@ercsd.k12.ny.us.
 
Applicants must also be willing to make themselves available for an interview with Board members. The Board intends to nominate a candidate on March 19, 2013. The election by the component districts will take place on April 23, 2013.
