Former Suffern Mayor John Keegan who previously announced his bid for mayor in the upcoming election is happy to introduce his running mates.
Barbara Mazza a 47 year Suffern resident has been married for 53 years has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She has done volunteer work at Good Samaritan Hospital and is a member of the Sacred Heart Players. She was employed at the Suffern Parking Authority and also worked at Kid's Kingdom pre-school in Nanuet. Barbara is active in both the Suffern and Ramapo Seniors organizations. Barbara says " I'm looking forward to serving my community as a Suffern Trustee".
Bill Schoenleber was born and raised in Suffern, has been married 41 years, has 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
He is a Vietnam Era Marine veteran, former Suffern Village Trustee, former Assistant Chairman of Suffern Democratic Committee and current Chairman of the Suffern Parking Authority. Bill is a retired Rockland County Corrections Officer.
Bill is also looking forward to getting back in village government and continue serving his community as a Suffern Trustee.
Keegan says he's honored to have Barbara and Bill on his ticket "The Hometown Team" and is confident they will work to improve the quality of life in the village.
