Spring Valley Man Sentenced to 2 to 4 Years for Burglary

Edwin Shockley, Age 53, residing at 32 Prospect Street, Spring Valley, NY, was sentenced February 5, 2013, before Rockland County Court Judge William K. Nelson to a state prison term of 2 to 4 years after pleading guilty to Burglary in the 3rd Degree.

District Attorney, Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about January 2, 2012, the defendant broke into the office at Golden Acres Adult Home and stole $2,000. The defendant again broke into the Adult Home on April 20, 2012 with the intention of stealing money but was arrested on the premises.
