Photos of the Avalanche vs. the Ducks
The Avalanche set the tone with a 6-1 win over the Mighty Ducks in the first game of what will be a five-day D.A.R.E. hockey marathon culminating with the finals on Sunday. The Avalanche move on to the semi-finals on Saturday.
Don Brennan of Conserv was kind enough to donate the use of three sets of construction lights to illuminate the D.A.R.E. rink.
In the second game, the Leafs outlasted the Canadiens 4-3 to advance to the next round.
Two games are scheduled for tomorrow evening with the Flyers vs. Blackhawks at 5:00pm and the Oilers vs. Penguins at 6:00pm.
