George Potanovic

George Potanovic has a BFA degree from RIT and has worked as a professional photographer for more than 25 years in the fields of advertising, corporate and marketing communications, commercial and fine art photography. He has worked as media director for a K-12 school and teaches professional development classes and workshops for businesses and non-profits. He currently teaches digital photography and Photoshop Elements classes in the Center for Personal and Professional Development at the Rockland Community College.

These land use issues affect our drinking water quality.

This is all too familiar from steep slope development along the Route 210 corridor in Stony Point in early 1990s that lead to the fouling of the Cedar Pond Brook, once a certified trout stream and water source for the Stony Point Reservoir, which was operated by the Spring Valley water company and closed due to siltation in the water filtration plant. - Another drinking water resource gone.
